Elect Latisha Grady

Safer Streets. Lower Costs. Better Schools.

Platform

DON’T CALIFORNIA OUR CAROLINA. It all begins with the value of faith. Faith is the pathway to freedom. Freedom creates opportunity. Opportunity builds wealth and legacy. But there is no faith, freedom, opportunity, or legacy to leave if your environment lacks Safety.  I’m running to deliver safer streets, lower costs, and better schools by protecting these values from radicals lurking in government.  For over a decade, I’ve worked behind the scenes supporting grassroots conservative causes and candidates. I served as Secretary of the Jones County Republican Party (2021–2023) and provided marketing support for the Lenoir County GOP. Now, I’m stepping forward to give District 18 voters a better choice which is policy and leadership grounded in common sense, NOT policies that defund law enforcement, protect criminals,  politicize children, create high taxes, and government dependence. I believe in term limits and  service with integrity.

Why Latisha?

Conviction

My relationship with Jesus Christ is the biggest asset to my voters because I’m accountable to Christ, first.  I am seen when no one else is looking.

Collaborative

There is a time to fight and a time to yield. I know the difference. I’m not a ranting radical ideologue. I’m a calm collaborative problem solver.

Results

Focused on results. Not rhetoric. Committed to real education, housing, safety, and job solutions for students, teachers, and residents in District 18.

Safer Streets

Safety Over Politics. Public safety requires coordination, not politics. Recently, a U.S. Marine was tragically killed in a stabbing downtown Wilmington. That happened in my District, 18. I support local police—and cooperation with federal partners like (NICE) Agents to ensure dangerous individuals who commit crime are identified and removed.  Learn More

Lower Costs

Results Over Rhetoric: I support common sense bills that attract top employers to create competition for lower costs and higher wages which incentivize builders to meet new demand driving down costs for renters and buyers. Also, I support healthcare reforms and improvements to the city infrastructure to support economic growth. NO bait-and-switch policies.

Better Schools

Workforce Pipeline: I support parental choice and implementing SB 579 Transforming The High School Experience for career-focused high school reforms that include high school-to-apprenticeship and trade pipelines connecting to high-paying jobs offering quicker pathways out of poverty.  Preparing them for new economy jobs or entrepreneurship.Â
